Happy Halloween!

The boys both wanted to dress up like Dale Earnhardt Jr., (their favorite NASCAR driver) for Halloween. They had lots of fun at their school parties during the day and trick-or-treating at night. They got lots of candy!

We Started Swimming Lessons!

The boys both started swimming lessons last Saturday at our local Recreation Center. They go every Saturday until the beginning of December. They both had a lot of fun and did really well!

Dylan In His First School Play

A couple weeks ago Dylan's Kindergarten class had their first play. It was a nursery rhyme play and Dylan had the all important part of being the spider who scared Little Miss Muffet away! We have it all on video too, but above is a picture of him as the spider. He did a great job, we were so proud!

Webkinz Mania!!

Brendan has really been into Webkinz lately. What is Webkinz you ask? For those of you who don't know, Webkinz are real plush pets, a.k.a. stuffed animals that come with a special code. When you go to the webkinz website and type in your code, you officially adopt your pet and they come to life in a virtual world. The kids play games to win Webkinz Cash to take care of their pets. They build houses, decorate rooms, feed them etc. We started out by buying Brendan and Dylan each a Webkinz pet and now they each have 2. Except Mommy takes care of Dylan's pets for him until he is a bit more interested. The scary thing is, it is pretty addicting, (even for adults). Off to the right I have photos of the boy's pets. You will notice one of them is a pink poodle named Cotton Candy. Brendan actually bought that for Mommy for her birthday so Loopy could have a friend in his house. She is now in Maddie's crib!

Dylan turned 6 today! Wow how time flies. Dylan had a great Birthday today. It started off with a party at school with his Kindergarten class. Mommy brough a big pull apart Finding Nemo cupcake/cake and his whole class had a lot of fun. Then later that day we had another party with pizza and more cupcakes and celebrated with his therapy team and his friends Haleigh and Ryan. He got lots of fun presents and was exhausted by the end of the day. I have posted more pictures from his birthday parties for everyone to see.

Welcome To Our Blog!

I decided to start a blog for Brendan and Dylan to keep everyone updated on how they are doing. If you haven't seen pictures of them in a while, they sure have grown! Below are pictures from their first day of school this year. They are both doing great in school. Brendan loves second grade and is making lots of friends and getting very good grades! Dylan was able to mainstream into a regular kindergarten classroom this year. He started the first week off with a shadow and hasn't needed one since. He is doing extremely well and several of the teachers and therapists have told us that if they didn't already know it, they would never pick him out as a child with autism, based on how he acts in class. We are just thrilled at how well he is doing so far. On top of school he still manages to get in 2-3 hours of ABA therapy at home each day after school. He is doing very well with that too!

Off to the right I have included some "fun" things. They include some of the boy's interests and Brendan also helped pick out some things that he wanted on their (like the cat).
